Group Rules

The community of “Effective Security” is created to advance and protect the profession. Members shall consent to the following group rules. Requests for joining this group without explicit consent to the ground rules will not be approved.

  1. No Piracy or Law Violation
    Please don’t share any copyrighted materials without permission. Don’t disclose questions protected by the NDA between the exam taker and ISC2.
    Please abide by your local laws.
  2. Respect the (ISC)² Code Of Ethics
    This group helps members prepare for the CISSP exam. You must agree to abide by the (ISC)² Code Of Ethics to be accepted as CISSP. Even if you are still preparing for CISSP, please follow it.
  3. Be Kind and Courteous
    We’re all in this together to create a welcoming environment. Let’s treat everyone with respect. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required.
  4. No Hate Speech or Bullying
    Make sure everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn’t allowed, and degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated.
  5. Respect Everyone’s Privacy
    Being part of this group requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make groups great, but may also be sensitive and private. What’s shared in the group should stay in the group.
  6. No Advertisements Without Prior Permission
    Active engagement and constructive sharing to win trust is the best advertisement.
  7. Use English as Primary Language
    To facilitate communication among CISSP aspirants, security professionals, and group members from the globe, please use English as the primary language.
  8. Share Meaningful Stuff Only
    CISSP, Cybersecurity, IT, Management, or other good knowledge are welcome!
  9. Collecting phone numbers of members, unsolicited promotions, and harassment is absolutely prohibited.
